The School of Visual and Performing Arts at University College
Chichester is looking for a Research Assistant to collaborate
with Dr Sarah Rubidge (AHRB Research Fellow in the Creative
and Performing Arts) on the development of multi-user immersive
interactive installation environments. Opportunities are available
for the successful candidate to pursue personal research interests
(e.g. for an M.Phil/Ph.D) and to contribute to the development of the
Performance/Technology strand in the undergraduate and
postgraduate programmes.

If you are a digital artist/composer with programming skills, or
computer programmer with an interest in the arts, have (preferably)
a second degree specialising in either digital media or electro-
acoustic music, or any first degree and relevant programming skills,

Salary £11937 p.a. The position will run from September 2001 ­
