During the last five years an increasing number of employment descriptions included a knowledge of, or background in, technology as either required or desireable. This summer a survey will be created to evaulate the responsibilities, qualifications and salary range of dance department personnel hired specifically for their abilities with technology (beyond running a VCR or audio cassette player). This isn't limited to the United States. An article, or monograph on the findings will be produced. Some information regarding persons with similar qualifications in other arts departments in the university may be required. Institution and/or personnel names will not be used in reporting the findings.
