Hello. My name is Jamie Boyle. I am a dancer who is physically disabled due to Rheumatoid Arthritis. I am very seriously interested in the possibilities of using the computer to create dance....esp. since i am now unable to be part of an undergrad bfa dance program and thus lack the resources, ie. dancers with whom I could create work. I am specifically curious about what kind of Shareware software I might be able to obtain, (I am a student and lack an abundance of financial resources....and want to know about options before I buy expensive software). Also...I am interested in just learning more about what is going on in the dance and technology field....please contact me! Finally, I am wondering if anyone out there works with Maxx Programming. My brother, Jeremy, who is an amazing sound artist/sculptor is looking for people to contact....and we figured somebody on this list might have some info.
