2 suggestions:
(1) you can make contact mikes from piezo electric buzzers sold at 
Radio Shack. These are little black disks with 2 wires that can be 
soldered, for example, to cables that would connect to a mixer, tape 
recorder, etc.
(2) some lavelier mics (meant to go on the lapel for interviews) are 
cylindrical and just larger diameter than the tubing on a doctor's 
stethoscope. Cut off the listening end, insert mic, and it will hear 
sounds from the inside of the body.

(1) is cheaper than (2). In either case, I suppose the mics will have 
to be taped onto the dancers' bodies to keep firm contact. The 
complicated part is, how will the signal get from the dancers to the 
place where it is amplified or recorded? Will dancers trail yards of 
wire, or will there be some wireless transmitter? Besti - DF
