---------------------------------------------------------------------------- -- Pseudo Space Moving Image Project 006:: -- -- 7:30pm sun 2nd feb 2003 :: Pseudo Space :: 188 sturt st Adelaide South Australia -- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- come down for some summerry quick flicks back at the pseudo space ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- :// Pseudo Space moving image project acknowledges, demonstrates and promotes the growing art form of indi digital film and computer animation making mixed with dance culture in a nu-practice which uses inexpensive micro elements in the making, screening, performing and distribution of moving images and sound. Opened in aug 2002 by kristian and kerry, the Pseudo Space focusâs its energy on real-time arts, performing arts, and new-media, being the first Îinteractive gallery/shop spaceâ in Adelaide to dedicate its self to these art forms particularly with the moving image and audiovisualising. The project operates by screening a selection of works submitted to or downloaded to a in-house server on the last Sunday of every month. This means, we either download stuff using our trusty DSL, or if not possible, artists can upload their works to a remote ftp sever or post a cdr/dvd in·and it all gets screened via a data projector and surround sound system connected to the network on the last Sunday of each month so people can continently remember when its on. This way of working allows spontaneousity, opportunity, intimacy and provides a unique always experimental, beautiful-experience to be part of. :// Line up for Pseudo Space Moving Image Project 006 //: "Enjoy being your own cinema, your own audience, your own space" :) Kristian Thomas.
